Er. Shameer.S – Brief Profile
Er.Shameer.S is a highly active startup and business community enabler, networker, and product evangelist based out of Coimbatore. He has handheld several startups from the idea phase to new product development (NPD) and helped scale businesses using SEO and digital marketing skills which he has been practicing since 2008. He has been a keynote speaker and moderator in several startups and business forums and national and global conferences and adjudicator at several Startup India, Startup TN, EDII, and MSME Hackathons. He has never fancied himself either as a startup or business mentor. Shameer is a known Webpreneur, and the founder of IT Projects Media, a creative Digital Marketing & Media Agency (started in 2017), based out of Coimbatore.
Currently, as the founder of the community, he also heads the editorial team of the By The Startups Community, Shop Store Business, Institute Industry Connect, and Schools Institute News effectively building digital profiles for its members. With 16+years of experience in Organic SEO/SMO/ORM/Branding/UI/UX Design/Storytelling Consulting/SEM & Digital Marketing under his belt, Shameer’s philosophy is pretty much simple: To bring true value to his client’s Branding and Digital Marketing process. His brief stint as a Scriptwriter with an animated explainer video firm in Coimbatore helped them win an award for its Animated Explainer Video at the national level from the ‘Election Commission of India’ in 2015. Storytelling is in his DNA, and he revels in churning out stories of anything from anywhere.
Shameer is an industry-recognized speaker, featured as a moderator in several forums, and a startup mentor in institutional incubators (TBIs) and EDCs across the state. Featuring as a speaker in over 500 offline and online sessions, training, and boot camps, he is also a professional quizmaster, voice-over artist, vocalist, and trainer in his preferred areas of Digital Marketing, Tech Leadership, Startup, Networking, and Communication. He completed his schooling at the renowned Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School (1999), one of the best schools in Tamilnadu. He obtained an engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics (2001-2005) from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
Popularly known as the ‘Bheeshma of the local startup ecosystem’, his vision is to create 10,000 innovative startup leaders from the state of Tamilnadu where he hails from. A regular speaker in 60+ institutions and 3+ universities in the Kongu belt and Tamilnadu, Shameer is also a professional quiz master (pro), trained storyteller, blogger, content developer, English communication trainer, startup leadership coach, and of late studying persuasion skills to help startups and businesses overcome marketing and promotional hurdles.
