Problem Statement
India produced 221.06 million tonnes of milk as of 2021-2022 and has positioned itself as the largest milk producer globally, accounting for a significant 24% share. This remarkable increase of 73% since 2011-12 indicates its enhanced milk production capabilities. However, there are several problems that the dairy industry in India faces such as inadequate access to high-quality feed and fodder, insufficient infrastructure, inadequate healthcare facilities, and challenges in disease management.

Priyadarshini, who has an MBA in Finance and HR, worked as an Administrative Officer and Senior HR executive in a leading pump manufacturing company in Coimbatore. She says.”I observed that consumers have become increasingly health-conscious post-COVID, moving towards a much healthier lifestyle, driving and shaping the dairy industry.” She adds, “Moving forward, their tailored preferences motivated me to develop tasty, health-conscious, and innovative natural dairy and agro-products. Soon I left my full-time job to start Prinav with the support of my husband who takes care of production, procurement, and delivery. We hired college students on a part-time basis to manage our day-to-day operations and support their education to this day.”
