BTS TOWN HALL – Committed to spreading Inspired Ideas locally

It’s time to celebrate the local greats. Yes, we’ll put it loud and clear for you: The BTS TOWN HALL, part of BTS Social, is an initiative by By The Startups Community to pick and celebrate the local heroes–wherever they are– irrespective of their caste, creed, color, race, or community. The BTS TOWN HALL represents a grassroots movement aligned with our community’s overarching mission to explore and disseminate “ideas worth spreading.”  It’s a nucleus of organizations, communities, and institutions committed to spreading ideas. These entities acknowledge the transformative potential of open solutions and collectively aspire to ensure fair and equitable access to ideas that really matter and their potential impact. By this, we want to create inclusive, social, pluralistic, and democratic societies and communities where individuals can freely pursue their ideas, beliefs, and values.

Celebrating the local greats

The BTS TOWN HALL is organized and orchestrated by the BTS community and dedicated individuals who selflessly aim to unveil innovative concepts and share cutting-edge research relevant to their regions, thereby actively fostering dialogue and building conversations. The event features only live speakers and is independently organized under the guidelines and regulations framed by the BTS community. While the community oversees these events, the organizers stick to the established format and receive guidance on curation, speaker preparation, event management, and more. They benefit from mutual learning experiences too.

 

The overall objective of the exercise or program is to ensure that ‘the power of ideas’ is accessible to everyone in an equitable manner, not only harnessing and anchoring the ideas shared but also effectively structuring, activating and applying them in different contexts. We’ll continue to play a vital role in constructing more interconnected, resilient, and sustainable communities.
